NEA CHORA: THE BEACH AT THE CITY

Crete is an island with many sandy beaches, but the ones I prefer most are those close to the city. Locals go there to relax after work or simply to take a break. Nea Chora Beach is just a few meters from the city center. Throughout the year, you will find people walking along the shore or simply unwinding. Later, some head to a taverna to enjoy fresh seafood.
